Why join clubs?

Too often I hear students talk about their fraternity or sorority as the be all/end all of their college experience.  Certainly there’s a huge benefit socially to being in a frat, particularly at schools where frats dominate the social scene.  That said, limiting your extra-curricular life to any one thing defeats one of the main purposes and joys of college, i.e. meeting a lot of other people your own age, with similar interests, but with some different backgrounds, thoughts, ideas, etc.

Listen to this video for one student’s perspective.  Then get out and join something.
