Trying has at times turned into a negative, as in “I tried, perhaps not that hard, and now I’m done.”

But a good friend sent me this link – I’m particularly inspired by numbers 6-9, as these show that asking for advice, then implementing it, isn’t the same as asking someone else to do something for you, and is a heck of a lot better than giving up.

As an aside, my dad’s corny joke #117 was “If at first you don’t succeed, try playing second base.” So here’s to you, dad….
