Had breakfast with a new friend Alex Hantman who mentioned something he’d done on his job that all new (and old) workers should emulate. Rather than complain about something that he thought could use improvement, he went to his bosses and made a suggestion. What happened? He ended up being in charge of a team dedicated to improving the process he referenced (btw, this was something entirely different than what he was hired for). He wins. Bosses win. Company wins. Customers win. I win, just for having the privilege of getting to know this future superstar.
