Where you go is not who you’ll be

A lot of HS seniors are entering that weird period where you’re hearing back from some schools, and still waiting for others to respond.

I totally understand the stress and the desired to feel “wanted.”

Echoing Frank Bruni, remember that where you go is not who you’ll be.  In other words, what you do when you arrive on campus will matter a lot more than the name on your sweatshirt, even if that seems crazy now.

I’d say good luck – but you don’t need it.  With goals, effort, and pluck, you’ll do well wherever you end up.
