Courtesy goes a long way …

Today’s tip comes courtesy (pun intended, just not funny) of my friend Carrie Diamond-Feldman, who teaches at a local college. If Carrie’s experience rings true to any of my college people, pay heed: be courteous: “Practically every semester I have a story of a student who wound up being in my class who either held the front door of the building open for me or let it shut in my face when entering the building. – you never know who is walking in behind you. Hold the door.”

A simple act like holding the door. Costs you nothing, at first, but might just make an impression you wish you could change.
P.S. The picture below is actually of Carrie – don’t believe her if she denies it.
